In 2004 Jodie worked with Paula Hindle of Yummy Mummy Physio in the Grange, which cemented her passion for working with mum’s on their journey to motherhood and beyond.

Paula has always had an incredible passion for women’s health, and has become an industry expert in her field. After all these years, it’s so lovely to have the circle reconnect.

Paula has over 18 years of experience in the health and fitness industry since completing her degree in exercise physiology and a Masters degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland. Paula developed a strong interest in women’s health physiotherapy after working in public maternity hospitals, and set up her private practice Yummy Mummy Physio in 2004, specialising in obstetrics, gynaecology, pregnancy and postnatal exercise. She works alongside ob/gyn’s at Bayside Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Mater Redland’s Hospital at Cleveland. She also works out of function training facility, Perform 360, at Enoggera in Brisbane, where she runs 8 week challenges for new Mums. She has a passion for working with female athletes and supporting women to return to the activities they love post birth. She also has online physiotherapy and dietitian designed pregnancy and postnatal healthy living programs. She is active on social media, advocating healthy living, self care, and promoting mental wellness and resilience strategies for women and their families. 

Paula is an inspirational motivator and public speaker.  She embodies health and wellness and her zest for life infectious. She is passionate about inspiring women to live a healthy, balanced and active lifestyle, enabling them to fully embrace their experience of motherhood with energy, happiness and a calm and present mind. She leads by example and demonstrates a holistic approach to life, motherhood and physiotherapy care, advocating healthy eating, regular exercise, mindfulness and meditation for complete physical, mental, spiritual and emotional wellbeing.

Paula is a solo Mum of two children, who she refers to as her ‘smalls’ Andrew and Cleo. She remained active throughout her pregnancies and had two natural, active births. She ran the New York Marathon 8 months after the birth of her baby boy Andrew and ran the Gold Coast Marathon 12 months after the birth of her baby girl Cleo. She has a keen interest in sport, including running, kickboxing, pilates, yoga, basketball and functional training and loves the challenge and excitement of a new adventure.

Paula is also a Yoga teacher and Pilates Instructor; a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, a member of The Women’s Health Training Associates, and a Girls Gone Strong (GGS) certified pre- and postnatal coach.
